Everything in one app
For calm days and restful nights
Short breaks during the day, a regular evening ritual or help sleeping through: Dormo fits your day.
Sleep stories
Fantasy, travel, nature, classics and gently told true crime. Fades out softly once you've fallen asleep.
Your sound mixer
Over 40 sounds like rain, fire, sea and white noise. Up to six at once, each with its own volume and direction.
Sleep tracking
Detects snoring, talking and coughing. With timestamps to listen back, a sleep score and personal tips.
Breathe & focus
Breathing exercises with a pulsing animation, a silent timer and a focus mode with set breaks for the day.
Sleep better in 7 days
A free programme: a short insight and a small task each day for calmer nights.
Dormo Originals
Stories you'll only find here
Our own formats, written, narrated and scored for a single purpose: helping you let go. You'll recognise them in the app by this badge.
- Our own series and worlds to return to night after night.
- Calm voices, gentle music and a pace that slows the closer sleep comes.
- One tap to filter with "Originals" in stories, meditations and music.
Sound mixer
Mix your perfect sleep soundscape
Rain on the tent, a crackling fire and a soft breeze from the left? Layer up to six sounds and save your favourite mix.
- Volume and left/right for every sound. It feels like a real room.
- Sleep timer with fade-out instead of an abrupt stop.
- Wake up to your mix: your favourite rain in the morning instead of a shrill alarm.
- Save offline, so your mix works in flight mode too.
Sleep tracking
Find out what really happens at night
Put your phone next to your bed. In the morning you'll see when you snored, talked or slept restlessly, along with tips that suit your night.
- Sound detection right on your device for snoring, talking, coughing, pets and noise.
- Personal insights: "23 min snoring, mostly around 3 am", plus matching tips.
- Trends over weeks and a summary to share, e.g. with your doctor.
- Gentle alarm within a 30-minute window before your wake-up time.
- Recordings stay on your phone and are deleted automatically.

FAQ
Good to know
Is Dormo free?
Yes. The 7-day programme, breathing exercises, timer, focus mode, selected content, the sound mixer and sleep tracking are free forever. Premium unlocks the whole library including Originals and kids' content, all sounds and advanced sleep insights.
How does the free trial work?
With the yearly plan you try Premium free for 30 days. We'll send you a notification shortly before it ends. If you cancel in your app store's subscription settings at least 24 hours before it ends, you pay nothing. Otherwise the yearly plan starts at €49.99.
What are Dormo Originals?
Our own stories, meditations and music, exclusive to Dormo. You'll recognise them by the "Dormo Original" badge and can find them with the "Originals" filter.
Is there content for kids?
Yes. In the "Kids" section you'll find bedtime stories and music for babies. With the family plan the whole family can use Dormo: up to six people, each with their own profile.
Does Dormo work without internet?
Yes. Tap the download arrow on stories, meditations or your mix. Then you can listen in flight mode too.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Dormo. Android: Google Play → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Dormo. In the app you'll also find it under Profile → Cancel. If you subscribed via our website: use the link in your order confirmation or email our support.
Are my sleep recordings uploaded?
No. Audio recordings and sound detection stay entirely on your phone and are deleted automatically. Only figures such as score, sleep duration and the number of detected events are synced.
How accurate is sleep tracking?
Dormo detects sounds reliably but is no substitute for a sleep lab. The app doesn't measure sleep stages in the medical sense. If you suspect sleep apnoea or have persistent sleep problems, please talk to a doctor.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free account. It takes seconds with Apple, Google or email. That way your progress, favourites and mixes are stored safely and available on all your devices.
Can I give Dormo as a gift or invite friends?
Both! On the gift page you can buy a gift card with a certificate. In the app, share your code under "Invite friends" and you both get a month of Premium.
I'm a creator. Can I recommend Dormo?
We'd love that. Through our partner programme you get your own code and link and earn 30% on every subscription from your community, for 12 months.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Profile → Account → "Delete account". Alternatively, here's a guide. You also need to cancel an active store subscription in the App Store or on Google Play.
